Sure, on LinkedIn, government forms, and whenever I'm in trouble with my mom, I go by Skylar. But, unless you are the government or my mom, you can just call me Sky. â€‹

I'm a copywriter, screenwriter, comedy writer, Duolingo dropout, and pro crafter. I spend my free time roaming the candle aisle at Michaels, Tj Maxx, and Target. So, if you need a push to buy a candle (or anything really), hit me up, I'm always going to say yes.

Here's a paper trail of my experience, plus some fun details below!

Copywriter @ Havas NY

January 2023 - November 2023

Copywriter @ EP + Co NY

Developing campaigns and social copy for Optimum. Also, became a pro at hunting down  alligator mascot costumes.

Managed banners and social copy for NewYork Presbyterian. Turns out life is the ultimate pre-existing condition.

Conceptualized and produced advertisements for Nature Valley, John Deere, Larabar, and pitched actual balls for Duke Health.

Jr Copywriter @ DDB NY

October 2020 - November 2021

Developed social media campaigns and activations, including TikTok content, for brands such as Lipton, Kroger, Aflac, and Cotton, the Fabric of Our Lives. Honestly, I'm just waiting for the Met Gala to be 2020 themed. I need to see Zoom call chic and bed rot realness.

Copy Intern @ JOAN

July 2020 - September 2020

Mastered the art of pitching from the very best and fell completely in love with advertising.  Oh, and I wrote copy for Brawny, Facebook, Vanity Fair Napkins, and Twitter.

Copy Intern @ Ogilvy NY

July 2019 - September 2019

First ad internship and I broke the coffee machine on day one. I swear it won't happen again! But, I did help develop OOH ads for UPS, Nationwide, Ford Mobility, and Champix.

True story: One day, I got bored and thought, "Why not go to grad school?" I found a program  connected with an advertising school, which blew my mind—like a whole school just for making commercials? That's so cool! Honestly, I had no clue what I signed up for, but it turned out to be the best decision ever.
